Refreshment Solutions - History
Refreshment Solutions' roots trace back over 60 years. It started with one vending cigarette machine set by Gerald Pelias.
It was in the 1940's when the first cigarette vending machine was set in the French Quarter. It was not until later that snacks and sodas were served. Throughout the years the operation grew both organically and through aquisitions.
Refreshment Solutions' business currently spans from Shreveport, to Lake Charles, to Baton Rouge and on through to Slidell. Refreshment Solutions is now Louisiana's largest automated merchandise operator. We believe in taking care of people, customers and employees alike. Refreshment Solutions is making strides to bring the vending industry from the dark ages by providing real-time sales data and moving toward cashless unattended retail.
